O' Lord, there is no God like you in all the universe, in heaven, or on earth. You have continued to bless us, in this extension of ministry, in your name, called the Free Store (I Kings 8:23 ff).
Now Lord we have a few requests as we present this store to you for your service:
Lord we do not want to be associated with the sin of Sodom where the people were arrogant, overfed, unconcerned, and did not help the poor and needy! Continue Lord to prod us and encourage us in our privilege to help your most chosen people. (Ezekiel 16:49) |

We know, Lord, that you are not just in this physical store. Please Lord be in all the worker's hearts that they may serve with pleasure and a smile. We ask Lord that all who work here work not as ignorant servants that do not know their Master's business, but as your friends and servants to do your will in complete co-operation with the leading of your Holy Spirit. (John 15)
We ask also Lord that when the people come in here, that all things that are not harmonious or are causing dissension or fights, that this place would be regarded as a place of reconciliation, of rest and peace. We would not judge them, for we all have sinned. We ask Lord for your compassion and mercy as we minister in your name to these people. Help them and us Lord to quickly turn back to you, confess our sin and not depend on man as we have done. (I Kings 8:46 ff)
Lord, when people come that do not know your name, but have come because of your name here, stretch out your arm, do as they ask according to your will, so that as you supply and prevail the people in this community will know your name and fear your name and know that you are God!
Thank you O God for this place, for all the helping hands, and the bountiful donations that have been provided.
Accept God this place in the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ for you service and your glory forever as we help your poor.
Amen!
