Praise be to You, O Lord God Almighty, from everlasting to everlasting you are God. Yours, O Lord, is the greatness and the glory, the power and the dominion, the majesty and the splendor. You are exalted as head over all. May Your name be honored! May Your kingdom come! May Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven! O gracious God, we are delighted to be able to dedicate this building to Your service. You have provided this place, and brought together the people who work as volunteers and staff and the people who find themselves in need of food and clothing and a listening ear and a caring heart.

We give thanks and praise to God for His generous gifts and provisions for this building. We give thanks for the people who helped renovate and equip and decorate this facility for the work of the Langley Help Network. We give thanks for those who give generously to fill the shelves with food and clothing. We give thanks for the people who work here day after day giving of their time, their gifts and their hearts to those who find themselves in need.

We give thanks and praise to the Lord Jesus Christ for His love which finds a visible and tangible expression in this building and those who work here. We give thanks and praise to the Holy Spirit for empowering God's people with the love and compassion of Jesus Christ and the message of salvation through faith in Christ's death and resurrection.

May this place always be not just a Foodbank and free clothing store, but also an oasis of Your love and compassion for the lost and those in need of help in getting what most of us take for granted, food and clothing and the love of the Lord Jesus Christ.

May Your protection surround this building and those who work here. May Your glory fill its rooms and the hearts of the director, the staff and the volunteers.

May the Churches of Langley continue to support this ministry with their gifts and prayers and their willing workers. May the community at large see this ministry as an expression of their compassion for those who are in need of their help and assistance. May all of us always be reminded that, except for the grace of God, we ourselves might be in the place of those who need to ask for help with the basic necessities of life.
